Interview Arizona Diamondback Starling Marte

In an episode of Sportswinmore "MIKE RODRIGUEZTV" Starling Marte opens up on how it felt to be traded to the Arizona team and if he has plans to represent the Dominican Republic team in the world classic baseball.

 "I felt a little sad because the Pirates team was the one team who allowed me to be in the big leagues and I was a little surprised, I miss my friends from the Pirates team a lot but at the end of the day this is a business and we have to go where they send us."

Starlin states that "some of the directors of the classic call me and ask me if I was ready they tell me that they count on me to play and I agree that I want to play and as long as it is for my country I will be there even if it is giving water to my teammates I would want to be there "

 

Marte, 31 has spent his entire eight-year career with the Pirates. He has a career .287 batting average with 108 homers, 420 RBIs and 239 Steals. He had career-high last season with 23 homers and 82 RBIs
